Professional Pilot Course

Professional Pilot Course

Our Professional Pilot Course is intended to take our students through their multi-engine commercial rating in the minimum amount of time necessary, starting either from a private pilot license or from zero hours! If you are starting from zero hours, be sure to check out our Private Pilot License course [link ] to see the beginning of the full program!

The full Professional Pilot Course consists of the following programs:

  1. Private Pilot Certificate (Piper Warrior II) – Approximately 50 hours (if necessary)
  2. Instrument Rating (Piper Warrior II) – Approximately 50 hours
  3. Glass Cockpit Jet Transition Course(Boeing 737 Simulator) – 20 hours glass cockpit training/20 hours ground instruction
  4. Time Building Phase (Piper Warrior II) – Approximately 50 hours
  5. Commercial Single Engine (Piper Arrow II) – 15 hours
  6. Commercial Multi-Engine (Beechcraft Duchess) – 20 hours

If you already have an FAA-issued private pilot license, the program is expected to take four to six months. If you do not have a private pilot license, the program is expected to take approximately eight months.

All of our pricing is based on historical averages for CTI Professional Flight Training students and is only an estimate. We believe in pricing based on these averages, rather than the FAA minimum hours, to give you an accurate picture of what your training will cost. As you shop around for flight schools, be sure to keep this difference in mind!

As with every school, actual costs may be higher or lower depending on each student’s unique abilities. Flight training is a highly individualized process and the actual number of hours required to reach a standard will vary significantly by candidate. Fuel Surcharges may apply and are subject to change without notice. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $500 for all CTI Professional Flight Training students.
