CTI Professional Flight Training is excited to offer training at its new second location, the Millington Regional Jetport (KNQA) near Memphis, Tennessee.

Local Fleet

CTI Professional Flight Training maintains a brand new fleet of Diamond Aircraft at its Millington location. CTI Professional Flight Training does not participate in the aircraft rental business, so student flights are our only priority! Each aircraft is subject to an ongoing schedule of regular maintenance inspections and is in compliance with FAR Part 141.

 

Our Offices

Our facilities at the Millington Regional Jetport include offices, a lounge, classrooms, and a full motion Redbird FMX simulator. Ground and briefing sessions are conducted in clean, air-conditioned classrooms. Pre-flight facilities are state-of-the-art, with computer-generated weather services and flight planning. CTI Professional Flight Training provides its students with unlimited access to the most current weather data available. Features include “in-motion” radar images and local/regional/national outlooks.

Redbird FMX

We have an all-new flight simulator equipped with three-dimensional motion, accurate cockpit panel, and realistic control stick loading. Our students will use the flight simulator to experience a lifelike flight mission while safely on the ground. The flight simulator is the Redbird FMX Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), manufactured by Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc.

It has eight high-resolution monitors, which provide a clear display of the flight instruments and more than 200 degrees of wrap-around visuals from the pilot’s seat. “The Redbird FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market, all while allowing students to train more efficiently and more cost-effectively than they could in any other device,” says Alan Mullen, CTI Professional Flight Training’s President and CEO.

The Redbird FMX accurately simulates the experience of flying two of the our newest aircraft, the Diamond DA-20 C1 and DA-42 NG. CTI Professional Flight Training has some of the most advanced avionics available in a training aircraft. The FMX allows our students to familiarize themselves with the new technology while they’re on the ground, instead of burying their heads in the cockpit while in the air

Millington Regional Jetport (NQA)

The Millington Regional Jetport, twelve miles north of downtown Memphis, is home to an operating runway which is 8,000 feet long and 200 feet wide. Instrument Landing System, VOR/DME, NDB and GPS approaches are available with near-24-hour controlled tower operations. The Millington Regional Jetport is also home to the Memphis Airshow, which CTI Professional Flight Training proudly sponsors!

CTI Professional Flight Training is in the process of expanding its Millington location, starting by moving into our newly-renovated 20,000 square foot facility.
