Not every flight school has the benefit of operating out of a busy, regional jetport, but we do!  Millington Regional Jetport (NQA) is the perfect place to train, thanks to its 8000ft-long runway and near 24-hour control tower operations.  What’s more, located approximately one-third of the way across the United States, a broad range of general aviation and military aircraft regularly visit Millington for refueling and servicing.  You never know what’s flying in tomorrow!

A newly renovated hangar with a historic twist!

Here at Millington, we operate from a 20,000ft² hangar, which recently went under extensive renovation to transform it into the excellent facility it is today.  However, there’s a pretty special story about this hangar – it once played host to the legendary Memphis Belle as she underwent restoration!

Every feature at CTI Professional Flight Training has been designed with our students in mind, giving you the best possible training experience.  As well as having over ten private briefing areas, our training facility also features a large classroom and a separate conference room!

When it comes to our pre-flight facilities, you’ll be preparing to fly using some of the latest equipment to help you.  With our computer-generated flight planning and weather services, it couldn’t be easier to prep for each flight.

An excellent place to prepare for commercial conditions

As a popular hub for passing aircraft, Millington Regional Jetport is the perfect place to prepare for a career in flight.  You’ll be able to practice all the radio and navigational skills you need to maneuver in a controlled airspace without having the pressure of dense traffic.  What’s more, the field is fully equipped for instrument approaches (ILS/NDB), and is close to satellite training facilities, giving you the opportunity to learn a variety of instrument approach procedures.

Outstanding location just north of Memphis

Just 12 miles north of downtown Memphis, we’re ideally situated for students from the city and further afield, as well as prospective pilots from Arkansas and Mississippi.  And for our international students wanting to get a flavor of Memphis, you can experience BBQ and Blues in just a 15-minute drive!

A short flight to other great cities

As well as having Memphis on your doorstep, it’s just a short hop from Millington to other must-see destinations in the South.  Escape to the Smoky Mountains, get the country-and-western vibe in Nashville, or head down to New Orleans for Creole cooking and king cake – all just a short flight away.
