PSA Airlines, one of the fastest-growing airlines in the country came to the CTI Professional Flight Training Tennessee Campus this time last year for a meet and greet. They are still one of the best airlines to get started with. PSA Airlines is a subsidiary of American Airlines, has competitive first-year pay and is a great flow through to American Airlines.

PSA Airlines

PSA Airlines operates an all-jet fleet of Bombardier regional jet aircraft. They operate over 800 daily flights to nearly 100 destinations on behalf of American Airlines. The headquarters is in Dayton, Ohio with flight crew bases and maintenance hangers spanning Pensacola, Florida to Canton, Ohio. Aircraft they operate include: 

  • Bombardier CRJ200
  • Bombardier CRJ700
  • Bombardier CRJ900

PSA First Year Incentives  

PSA pilots are part of a close-knit team that flies exclusively for American Airlines. They offer a quick upgrade path to captain and flexible scheduling options. The flow-through to American Airlines is as little as six years. The first-year incentives are attention-grabbing:

  • $50+ starting hourly wage
  • $18,000 sign-on bonus  
  • $10,000 at end of training
  • $8,000 at end of first year
  • Premium pay for flying over 75 hours

PSA Career Path

The first-year pay can be up to $72k. You don’t have to wait to receive industry-leading paychecks. In just under two years you can find yourself in the captain’s chair. Within 6-7 years you can become a first officer with American Airlines, the world’s largest airline.

Cadets

Go from the classroom to the cockpit with PSA. The entry-level for cadet status with PSA is having your private pilot certificate and successfully completing the HR interview. Benefits include mentorship and promotional materials. Senior Cadets qualifications include single, commercial, or multi-engine rating and a successful interview process.
