5 Reasons to Learn to Fly at CTI in 2021

Have you always wanted to learn how to fly but were too intimidated by all the rules and regulations of getting started? Or have you tried flying in the past but wish there was a condensed checklist of things to consider when deciding to get your pilot’s license? If so, then this article is for you! Whether you’re starting from scratch or renewing your pilot’s license, CTI Professional Flight Training is for you.

FAA-approved Training

CTI Professional Flight Training is an FAA-approved Part 141 flight academy. This means every course you take will be professionally designed and structured to help you meet your needed requirements. No flight experience is necessary to get started. By the time you finish at CTI, you’ll be ready to go straight into the aviation industry. At CTI you will be able to schedule your final examination with an in-house instructor, so you don’t have to wait for a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) to become available.

Experienced Instructors

The instructors at CTI are experts and love what they do. Our instructors are carefully selected for experience, teaching ability, and passion for flying. CTI instructors follow the Jeppesen Pilot Training System which is an application-oriented approach. This means you don’t just memorize facts, but understand the “how” and “why” of each concept.

Great Location and Facilities

CTI has two great campuses to choose from. Our Tennessee campus is in Millington, just north of Memphis.  With an 8,000 ft long/200 ft wide runway, readily accessible flight access areas, and full tower operations over 21 hours per day, you’ll have everything you need to start racking up those hours of experience!  You’re also only a short distance from Memphis, the Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

You can also study at our Florida campus in sunny Fort Lauderdale.  As well as guaranteeing excellent flying weather, you’ll also get to fly from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.  With over 160,000 flight operations a year, it’s the premier general aviation airport in South Florida, so you’ll have lots from which to learn.  What’s more, you’ll have the beaches, arts, and culture of Fort Lauderdale right on your doorstep!
